It is using the new c_model which slightly different, but it’s enough to make the skin brake as it is using a fundamentally different model system. The old files are taken from tf folder. If you knew which commands were linked to your reverting graphics setting, you could just modify those values in the config. You can do this by right clicking on Team Fortress 2 in your game library.
